To The Strongest at Historicon- Nicopolis 1396

The boys and I played in a couple of games – one that stood out for me was a To The Strongest game featuring the medieval Ottoman army against a coalition of western forces.
I hadn’t played the rules before, but I enjoyed them. What I took away was that there is hope for all those largish 15mm Ancients to Medievals collections languishing in storage. The game showed me an ability to look at larger battles and create an approachable mechanism for using existing collections to game some historic battles.
I’m think Cataluan Fields, Milvian Bridge, Adrianople etc.
To be clear – not my figures, but in a later post, I’ll show you what I mean.
