28mm LOTR- The Mines of Moria at Winter War

My son is 11.5 this year and ran his second convention game – three linked scenarios from the Mines of Moria book.

I spent perhaps four hours building a piece for Balins tomb – which I think turned out okay. The first game is the fight in Bali s tomb which the players won handily.

The second is a race across the great halls to get to the bridge. This also went well for our Fellowship other than Pippin not quite making it.

he third game was the battle with the Balrog. It did not go well as you may imagine….

Not a bad job for an 11 yo game master. He really knows the rules and helped the players work through their options- we also had a great group of 7 guys playing – hats off fellas.
