Weekend before last was HMGS Little Wars at the Westin Yorktown in the west suburba of Chicago.
We make a trip up most years – it’s usually a chance to run games which are bigger and thus rarer than gaming locally. I ran three games- 15mm Boxer Rebellion, 15mm Polish Uprising 1794, and 28mm Dark Ages Danes vs Irish. I’ll post separate summaries of those games – here I want to share a trove of pics from the four day con. As always some tremendously cool games with much work in preparation. Well done to all the GMs. If you see your game and want to provide more information please contact me – I’d be glad to post.

Jim’s new Dark Ages rules featured beautiful 3D printed ships

Lo
Napoleonic commands and colors Waterloo looked magnificent and ran a couple times.

Anyone who was there can help with the rules for this operational level ww2 game?

Brilliant looking 20mm 1/72 scale plastics for the Sudan
Lots of Dark Age games this year.
This may have been Zanzibar – the table was impressive.
This last game for the boys was inspiring because many of the ottoman ships were straight out of the Home depot – lots of craftsmanship and trim pieces with paint. They looked great.
